Cambodia has announced that it will officially roll out 5G mobile services in 2026, marking a new stage in the country’s digital transformation. The 5G network will offer speeds 10 times faster than 4G, ultra-low latency, and massive connectivity, driving upgrades in smart cities, digital agriculture, manufacturing, and fintech industries. Simultaneously, the government has launched a ten-year digital skills training program to develop at least 100,000 digital talents and build digital parks and technology centers. Comprehensive 5G infrastructure and talent support are expected to boost national economic competitiveness, attract domestic and international investment, and create high-quality employment opportunities.
